Kennedy Wright
Owner & Trainer
MY STORY
Though I have been an avid animal lover my entire life, my dog training career officially began the day I brought home my golden retriever, Remy. I brought her to a dog training class when she was 9 weeks old and quickly became enamored with watching her learn and figuring out how to teach her. I spent time learning from other trainers, building my knowledge on dog behavior & training, and working with several different types of dogs, issues, and abilities. I brought my second dog home, a Black Lab/German Shepard mix named Gumbo, in 2021. Also in 2021, I graduated from NC State University, and began RooDog Training with the goal of bringing the same connection-first philosophy that I practice with my dogs to other dogs & owners. It is my mission to help dogs & their owners find joy in the journey of growing towards goals together.
